Johnson Charles Returns to Multan Sultans; M Shahzad Graduates to Top Tier

Explosive West Indies batter Johnson Charles returns to Multan Sultans as he was one of the two supplementary picks of the side in the HBL PSL 9 player replacement and supplementary draft on Monday.

All-rounder Muhammad Shahzad, member of Pakistan squads in the 2020 and 2022 U19 World Cups, was the other pick. Shahzad is a regular at the Multan Sultans Academy in Lodhran and was part of the academy side that won Ramadan Trophy in Karachi last year.

Multan Sultans did not have to make any replacements as all 18 players are available for the entire duration of the HBL PSL 9.
