About The
Development Squad
A platform dedicated to nurturing and developing high-potential players across Pakistan.
The Multan Sultans will be starting trials and development camps at the Multan Sultans Academy Lodhran (formerly known as the Tareen Academy) with the goal of building a squad of 24 high-potential players, who will be known as The Sultans Elite Squad.
Vision
With a history of working towards social development and having strong roots in South Punjab, we see the franchise as an opportunity to further enhance our efforts in giving back to the region.

As part of our player development program, the Sultans Elite Squad will participate in the leading local tournaments across Pakistan. Players who rise to the top of this Elite Squad, all train for a chance to play for Multan Sultans on Pakistan’s biggest cricket stage: Pakistan Super League.

The squad will be headed by Muhammad Waseem, former Chief Selector and Head of Development at MS. In addition to the main MS coaches, the development squad will benefit from world-renowned technical coaches such as Ian Pont, Julian Wood, and many more.
